During my last little stint at home, I made a point to spend an evening in downtown Denver. It’s a gorgeous city, and it breaks my heart that I don’t get more time to like, screw around and go to Rockies games and bars and like hang out and shit.
Turns out that the March evening I picked for my little stroll about town was an incredibly wet and snowy little night. Froze my ass off, but it made for an awfully pretty setting. Have a look, if you feel so compelled….

Waiting for my train…

Hey, there it is.

The 16th Street Mall.

You can tell Denver’s the shit cause we have a Hard Rock.

This sign totally changes color…

See?

The view from the Denver Pavilions. A little outdoors mall/bar/restaurant place…

Art.

Helluva lot of snow…

That’s one cold ass cowboy.

The Brown Palace Hotel, kind of a landmark around here.

Ok, the old churches in Denver aren’t nearly as impressive as those in Germany. Pretty though.

I dunno why, but I kinda like this wall.

And these dumpsters.

And I’ll leave you with Coors Field, a damn pretty ballpark, and the home of your Colorado Rockies.
One more round of Denver pictures coming soon… Then it’s off to England.
Don’t be a stranger.
