A 3-Week Stroll Through Buenos Aires – Day 21 – Tigre del Delta

Well here we are.  The end of the little Argentinian adventure.  It was kind of fun to go back and relive those couple of weeks.  Hope you enjoyed living vicariously through me while I lived vicariously through James and Kristin….

The boat we were on didn't look too different from this little guy that we passed....

Sad.

Looks like one helluva rowing club.

Awww. The Schulmans.

Old dudes.

Waiting for the train home.

James and Kristin at the second of our train stations. They're cute.

Man, there are way better states after which one can name one's club. Like Wisconsin. Or Iowa.

And finally, the last of the two-hundred-some pictures. Me with my travel beard sipping on a delicious Duff beer. Homer Simpson and 1997 me would be so proud.

Well, that’s all she wrote.  If you missed any of the pictures, you can find every day of the stroll under the “The Sights of Buenos Ares” category….  Thanks so much for tagging along.

A 3-Week Stroll Through Buenos Aires – Day 20 – Tigre del Delta

The last of the pictures from Tigre:

Kidna funny... Brand new speed boat flying past the boat that zigged when it should have zagged.

I like this. The two long-since decommissioned naval vessels we rode past and apparently, a shiny new Ferris wheel.

Cesar and Fernando have seen better days.

The waterfront amusement park on the way back to town.

I like this picture... The old lighthouse with the bad-ass roller coaster in front of it.

And finally for today, a very anti-Semitic boat taxi we passed right as we were getting into port.

Well, we’re almost done…  Guess all good things have to come to an end.  One more little batch of pictures and our stroll through Buenos Aires is over….

A 3-Week Stroll Through Buenos Aires – Day 19 – Tigre del Delta

It's almost home time.

This little guy was passed out cold on the dock. He let the entire boat's worth of people walk right past him without so much as lifting his head. I'm sure he'll get around to moving manana.

A bit of a fixer-upper.

Unfortunately we couldn't stay for over... We're on the boat home...

I bet this hotel would be pretty sweet....

So I'm not sure if locals used the tourist boats to get around, or if the tourists used the locals' boats to go see shit, but either way there were a lot of both board. This kid rode out with us, and then gave some kind of parcel to someone on board on our way back.

It was an awfully enjoyable ride back to town.

The last of the pictures of our boat ride tomorrow…  Our time in Buenos Aires is nearing an end…
