Well, I’m gonna interrupt your regularly scheduled pictures from England to show you around my little home away from my home away from home. I currently find myself enjoying a Pilsner Urquell (supposedly THE original pilsner) at the bar in the Hotel Split, located on the bank of the Ohře River in Kadaň, Czech Republic.
Or, if like me, that means nothing to you, I’m here:
And while the place does have all the familiar symptoms of the random places I visit for work; it’s in the middle of nowhere, it has a nearby coal mine, power plants, and absolutely nothing to do, it is a surprisingly pretty little place. As such I’ve taken a few walks about town during my stay, and predictably, I took more than a couple pictures. So, feel free to join me as I have a look around this little town….
Kind of a neat little corner of this little planet of ours. Now, if you’ll excuse me, these free beers aren’t going to drink themselves.
Come back soon and we’ll go for a stroll along the river. And fret not, pictures of London and the English country side are coming too.
Don’t be a stranger.
