The Schloss Karlsruhe

Well, for better or for worse I made it home.  It wasn’t pretty, but I made it home.

Fret not, I’ll tell you about the 24-and-a-half hour debacle of a travel day once the wounds have had a chance to heal a little.  But for now I feel like a bit of a lighter note.  I’m back in Colorado combating my jetlag with a 4-pack of red bull and don’t much feel like bitching and moaning about mechanical issues, so I’ll show you around the Schloss Karlsruhe instead…

On Monday of last week they had me drive about 3 hours south from Bergheim to some random warehouse in Karlsruhe to take some inventory of some our crap that’s out there.  A quick trip; only one night and the following day, but I found a couple of hours to explore.  As I checked into my hotel I got a hot tip from the digital picture frame sitting on the desk in the lobby.  Apparently, some big-ass 300 year-old palace was only 10 km from the hotel.

So after my little German warehouse party I punched it into the GPS and went to have a look…  Turns out that picture frame knew its shit; it was definitely worth seeing.  Have a look….

That’s all for today.  Come back tomorrow for the rest of the pictures from Karlsruhe…

Don’t be a stranger.
