It’s been an absolutely beautiful week out here on the front range of the Rocky Mountains. As such, I spent Wednesday afternoon and evening at my local watering hole of choice, K’s China. It’s the place to be on a nice day in Boulder, Colorado, with a rooftop that has views of The Flatirons, and damn near the whole town.
Couple that with some pretty cheap drinks and a friendly bar-staff I’ve known for years, and you get by far my favorite place to throw down a Corona or seven and enjoy some sunshine.
As you might have noticed, I’ve been on a little bit of a time-lapse photography kick recently. Only I wasn’t doing actual time-lapse stuff, I was more taking a shitload of pictures and putting them into a super-fast slide show. So I did a little bit of research, got myself a cheap intervalometer, set up the tripod and decided to give it a shot. This is my first attempt at this, and there’s a few things I can improve upon, but it’s a start, and it’s a good way to watch the sun go down from the K’s rooftop without having to come to Boulder. Have a look.
Back to Germany tomorrow.
