Big day huh? Today I’m launching the Remarkably Unremarkable Facebook page… As you might have noticed just to your right there…
So, what, exactly is in it for you? Well, first of all, you’ll get a link and a picture or two from each blog post. And those of you that follow me know I travel more than anyone really ought to… And, those of you that know me are aware of the fact that I just about never stop taking pictures of the random shit I see.
Funny crap like this :

The Farrar Store in Farrar, TX. About the only place anywhere near Jewitt, Texas where a working stiff can get a bite to eat… Although seeing this little sign in the bathroom doesn’t really inspire confidence…
Cool crap like this:

A traffic jam on County Road 80E near Livermore, CO
Pretty crap like this:

A sunrise at the Cholla Sation in Holbrook, Arizona.
and this:

Sunset at Lake Pokegama not too far from Grand Rapids, Minnesota.
And plenty of WTF crap like this:

A space heater riveted to the wall of a porta-shitter up in Minnesota.
Now, all of these pictures came from my personal Facebook Mobile Uploads album. Over the next few weeks, I’ll be putting the good stuff from my album up on the page, the first installment of which you can find right here. This also gave me a bit of an idea. Remarkably Unremarkable needs a Mobile Uploads album… And now, it has one.
Also, it’ll serve as a nice way to keep track of me. I’ll let you know where I’m heading long before I’ve had the chance to stroll around whatever little town I’m in taking pictures and to throw up a post about it… You’ll be one step ahead.
Not to mention, I’m sure none of you can get enough of my hysterically endearing sarcastic cynicism… So why not one more little source eh?
Either way, I’m pretty excited about it. For a while now I’ve wanted to share the little nuggets that, while certainly worth sharing, din’t quite seem like they were enough for an entire blog post . Little nuggets like this one:

Did you really tie a bag of dog shit to your back windshield wiper?? I guess this is the Boulder version of truck nuts….
And now I will be. So give it a look, and if you like what you see, well, give it a like too. Word.
Don’t be a stranger.
