Today, the drive through the Northern Wyoming mountains continues…
- You are here. Union Pass from Pinedale, WY to Dubois, WY.
- A little perspective.
- It was an incredibly isolated, and beautiful little drive.
- A little panoramic, click on it to make it bigger…
- A touch prettier than the east side of New Orleans, in my slightly less than humble opinion.
- Just a little.
- We’re getting closer to Dubois now… By the way, that’s pronounced “Do-boys.” I was informed by a rather gruff-looking gas station attendant that pronouncing the correct, French way is a good way to “get your ass beat.” I took his advice.
- I love the open space…
- One more panoramic, just past the top of the pass heading back down.
- And finally, home for the night after my little mountain adventure. The Wildernest camper on the back of my trusty Tacoma. That may or not be a bottle of Jim Beam there sitting by the fire.
That’s all she wrote for this little trip. Don’t be a stranger.
